  • 3 c fruit + 1 c berries we use nectarines + blueberries
  •  2 T honey, organic brown sugar or maple sugar
  • 1/4 t cinnamon
  • 3 T cornstarch of flour
    Topping

  • 1 1/2 c flour (whole wheat)
  • 4 t baking powder
  • pinch salt
  • 1 c organic brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 c milk or buttermilk

Preheat oven to 350º and grease 21/2 qt baking dish.
Mix fruit (we don’t skin nectarines) with cinnamon, honey and cornstarch  – let stand while making topping.

Mix remaining ingredients. Arrange fruit in greased pan and then add topping ingredients.

Cook for about 35- 40 min or until golden brown.

Serve warm with yoghurt, ice or whipped cream.
